0 max pickups per hour (grey = none)
Numbers are estimates: sampled pickups divided by 0.05, then divided by the number of such weekdays in 2023.
Colours use a square-root scale so mid-sized zones stay visible. About 1% of pickups have an unknown zone (TLC codes 264 and 265): they count in the total but can't be shown on the map. Pickups only, yellow taxis only.
Zone shapes: NYC TLC taxi-zone shapefile, simplified.
